You have been in space for a long time, and now it is finally time to return home. The trip will be long, and not without its complications, but you are ready.

Almost Home is a collaborative storytelling game for 3-6 people about the final leg of a long haul space mission.

Choose the nature of you mission, customize your ship, choose your jobs, and establish bonds among the characters before playing out the long journey back to your home planet. Each leg of your trip will bring a new complication to rise, and it is up to you to determine how the ship and its inhabitants react to events as they occur. Then, once the end is in sight, it is up for you to determine whether or not the ship returns home.

Almost Home was created for EndJam, hosted by Dylan Grinder

Who doesn't love a story about a spaceship crew? When I played Almost Home, it led to a dramatic story where nothing was quite as it seemed. But I could just as easily replay this game as a "slice of life" space family's trip home. In fact, I want to play that! The random prompts are excellent catalysts for drama, whether or not the stakes are high in your playthrough.
